21-09-2020 - Rajya Sabha, India - Action has 
been taken against the MPs who created a 
unprecedented chaos in the Rajya Sabha. Eight 
MPs have been suspended for a week. Vice 
President and Rajya Sabha Chairman 
M Venkaiah Naidu has suspended Derek O'Brien
Sanjay Singh,Raju Satav, KK Ragesh, Ripun 
Bora, Dola Sen, Syed Nazir Hussain and 
Elamaran Karim. Venkaiah Naidu was deeply
impatient with the incident in the House
yesterday.He held a high-level meeting with 
Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, 
Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Parliamentary 
Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi at his residence 
on the incident. It was decided to take action 
against the MPs who created the 
Unprecedented chaos. Union Minister Prahlad 
Joshi today moved a \resolution seeking 
suspension of members under Rule 256 in 
this regard. After examining the video 
footage it appears that action has been
taken against the MPs.


Opposition members, meanwhile, are protesting 
against the suspension of eight members.The 
Rajya Sabha adjourned for 30 minutes. 
Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress 
MP Derek O'Brien, Congress MP Ripun Bora,
AAP MP Sanjay Singh and DMK MP Thiruchi
Shiva Deputy Chairman climbed on the
podium and tried to take away the mic. Several 
MPs approached the chair and chanted slogans 
against the deputy chairman, tearing up the 
papers.Amidst concerns, the Rajya Sabha
adjourned for 10 minutes,after which the House
resumed. Agriculture bills were passed. 
Meanwhile,12 opposition parties have 
issued no-confidence notices against the 
deputy chairman.

Coronavirus Updates In India - 21-09-2020



The corona virus epidemic continues to grow day 
by day. A record number of corona cases are 
being reported across the country on a daily 
basis, including cases coming from various 
states. In  the  last 24 hours, 86,961 new corona 
cases were registered in India, bringing the total 
number of corona cases across the country to 
54,87,581. Of these, 10,03,299 were treated and 
43,96,399 recovered from the corona. Currently 
the corona recovery rate in the country is 
79.68 per cent while the mortality rate is 
1.61 per cent.

1,130 people have died with corona in the last 
24 hours.This brings the total death toll to 
87,882. There were 7,31,534 Tests across 
the country yesterday,bringing the total number 
of Tests to 6,43,92,594. However, despite the
 huge increase in the number of cases, it is 
gratifying that the number of recovering people
is also increasing significantly.Globally, the
number of positive cases has crossed 3 crore 
and 2 crore 20 lakh corona victims have
already recovered.

Now No Special passes for inter-state travelling are required - Telangana state DGP Mahender Reddy

 



Telangana state DGP Mahender Reddy clarified 
that special passes are not required for 
inter-state travel. Until now, special passes have 
been issued by the DGP's office for inter-state 
travel.Those going to other states are no longer
required to take passes at the DGP’s office. He 
said those traveling from Telangana to Andhra
Pradesh,Karnataka and Maharashtra would have
to register their names in the government apps
 there.In addition, the police department has 
stopped the issuance of transport passes for 
travel to other states.

Vehicle passes are not required for vehicles 
coming to Telangana. However, those going 
to Andhra Pradesh will have to register their 
details in the Spandana app, those going to 
Karnatakawill have to register in Seva app 
belonging to that state and those going to 
Maharashtra willhave to register their passenger
 details in that state portal.
